The elements of social work, the approach of mentor programs and the practical approach of the legal cliniques are combined in this method to prepare the segregated people for full-flagged social integration, cooperating with the Romani of the settlement, the volunteers and the local institution system.

If there are no more tarmac roads, no more running water, no canal system and hardly any public lighting, then you have reached a roma settlement like this one at the outskirts of Bag. BAGázs is untiringly innovative in a multi-layered way. It gets companies like Prezi to install prepaid electric meters. It gets the roma living there to believe – again – in a legal future; and to work for it, together. It gets the power supplier to plant a fruit tree in every courtyard. Even more surprisingly, it gets the local government representatives to come to the settlement and participate in meetings with the roma in the community container. And the non roma of the village now greet back.
