The Invisible Study Hall builds a relationship between the volunteer mentor and the mentored child’s family creating a stable background helping the intellectual and emotional development of children changing school from a segregated to an integrated one. It bridges the gap between the middle class and socially marginalized families in an egalitarian setting.
