Meséd

Meséd builds on the well-established fact that when a mother reads stories to her children, she is preparing them to do well in school—not just in the early grades, but throughout the breadth of their education. Using the magic of stories, the project acquints mothers with childrens story books. By building reading skills and using stories for different activities towards the education of their children, Meséd instigates a major step in establishing a culture of books in homes devoid of book learning.
