Miről szól a projekt?

The online platform "Career Moves" for the labour market integration of people with impairments was set up in 2010. Job ads are marked with special icons so that job seekers with impairments can see at one glance that the enterprise wants to react "normally" to disabilities. At the same time, employers are advised how they must change their enterprise and the corporate culture so as to guarantee an optimal insertion of employees with impairments. Supported by the National Social Services Department, "Career Moves" has proven so successful that the idea is to be exported to Germany from 2014 onward by way of social franchising.

 

A zsűri elismerése

The idea of "Career Moves" is to call employers' attention to the talent pool of people with disabilities and to thus put these on an equal footing for job applications. The focus is the performance of people with impairments and not their special needs. The implementation of the idea enjoys official support and social franchising is now to provide further expansion. The rising numbers of job ads and counselling sessions of employers as well as of applicants shows that this social innovation works. We hope that the geographical extension will succeed.
