The project provides young people who have fled to Austria with space for reflecting their own acquired prejudices and also the prejudices of others concerning them. And it provides space for describing and evaluating exclusion – exclusion experienced, and exclusion performed on others – and for putting it into perspective. This confrontation happens in two-tiered workshops separated by sex, led by trainers who have themselves had to experience discrimination because of sex or origin. The objective is to have these young people from different parts of the world develop an identity that is not based on the denigration or depreciation of others.
