People living in remote, rural areas have limited access to the labor market. However, they are surrounded with an abundant, renewable resource, highly prized on the market: pristine clean, wild-grown herbs. The Green Gold project seeks to train people living in rural areas as wild-grown herb harvesters, and connect them to the market for the herbs and herb-based products.
