The project is based on employing individuals from vulnerable social groups to collect waste paper from “door-to-door”, using ecologically acceptable transportation - bicycles. The service is provided to users free of charge and money earned from selling of collected paper is reinvested back in to the project and community.

In countries where no garbage disposal service comes to collect waste separately, and where streets are not tidied up ten minutes after a demonstration, waste separation problems are solved in pioneering ways by private and civil society initiatives. In Koprivnica this happens under the motto "show responsibility for community and environment". What adds to this being socially innovative is that the sustainable waste paper collection by means of eco-boxes and bicycles has created employment, amongst others for long-term unemployed. Soon, an electricity-powered lorry is to help to introduce the "cargo bicycles" also in smaller municipalities in Koprivnica's hinterland.
