After being trained in the issue of disabled access and their rights, people with a disability check their local area for disabled access. They are supported by experts who themselves are disabled. Positive and negative examples are compiled through images, words and sounds and presented to the relevant decision-makers. They then obtain further information and concrete tips as to how they can design their community to offer greater disabled access. In future, an ‘arbitration coach’ with a disability will ensure that the statements provided by decision makers are implemented.
