Bioplynová stanice

V rámci pražírny NATURPARK 12 vznikla malá bioplynová stanice schopná produkovat bioplyn k dalšímu využití, včetně využitelného biologického hnojiva pro podporu růstu rostlin. Cílem projektu je další rozvoj funkčního integrovaného celku, který má významný potenciál úspěšné komercializace nejen na českém trhu v oblasti bio a cirkulární ekonomiky. Produkt je možné nabídnout k užití dalším sociálním podnikům a subjektům v oblastech gastroprovozů či farmářství (např. školní jídelny, restaurace, hydroponie, pěstírny). Díky projektu jsme navíc navázali spolupráci s českými vysokými školami.

The village of Kokořín uses biogas to provide the community with eco-friendly, self-sustaining energy. The project incorporates locally produced biogas and solar power to provide energy and fertiliser, bringing sustainable economic resources to the rural community of Kokořín. 

The social enterprise project is the first of its kind in Central Europe. The biogas will used to revitalise the community. The biogas will power a local coffee roasting plant while providing fertiliser for the gardens of a guesthouse, school, and kindergarten.  

Vít Kettner, a disabled employee of the association Revenium, conceptualised and founded this project. He independently set up a project team that included disabled employees and academics from local universities. The project brings together social entrepreneurship, higher education, and biogas entrepreneurs who consulted on technological processes.

The project has transformed the village of Kokořín. The biogas and fermentation produced are fully incorporated into the development of Kokořín 12, which includes a coffee roasting plant. A barrier-free guesthouse with catering services will also be built next to the local kindergarten and school. 

The project can be an example for other businesses and communities focused on sustainability and bio-economic practices, leading to more education and innovation. Producing and collecting biogas locally has many economic, environmental, and social benefits. It is also a unique project, social enterprise, and a best practice of waste-free management.
